Sponsored Youth Programs
We have sponsored youth programs at all of the Piqua public schools.
• KEY CLUB - Piqua High School
• BUILDERS CLUB - Piqua Jr. High School
• K-KIDS - Piqua Central Intermmediate, Springcreek, and Washington schools


Brief History

• Piqua Kiwanis received its charter in 1936.
• Our first Pancake Day was October 29, 1955.
• Our Annual Halloween Parade first started in 1956.
• 83 flowering trees were purchased in 1969 and planted along the Nicklin boulevard.
• In 1980 development began on Kiwanis Park
• Key Club was founded in 1994 at the Piqua High School.
• Builder's Club was founded in 2000 at Piqua Jr. High School.
• K-Kids was first started in 2009 at Springcreek Elementary.
* The first Flapjack 5K was run in March 2018.


Annul Events
- Piqua City Spelling Bee (January)
- Pancake Breakfast at the Upper Valley Career Center (March)
- Flapjack 5K is run on the same day and location as our Pancake Breakfast
- ANNUL Head Start Reading Program (during the school year)
- Kiwanis Scholarships are awarded to Lehman and PHS seniors (May)
- Bicycle Safety Rodeo (Spring)
- Salvation Army Summer Feeding Program (June - August)
- Halloween Parade (October)


Financial Support
We support the following:
- Piqua Top 100 Banquet
- Piqua Civic Band
- Piqua Youth Sports Teams
- Hospice Camp Corageous
- Infant car seats for Upper Valley Medical Center
